FSD 2.0 project is still alive even thought its been a while since it has not been updated. I'm currently starting cleanup work to get a functional version out.
I think this lack of updates was also due to some lack of communication between the team... Some weeks ago we were really near of an alpha release, like 2-3 days. Only some minor GUI works was left to be done. Then we all started doing some need things we thought well be useful and the whole thing started crumbling and seems like nobody wanted to take the time to fix it.
In the next few days, I'll try to get a clean, fully working build that you all can use.
This build will probably have every extra features off or non-fully functional but it will list games in a neat way and run them properly.

Analyst Colin Sebastian of research firm Lazard Capital Markets has predicted that approximately 3 million units of Microsoft's Kinect camera-based control system will be shipped worldwide in this calendar year.
Unveiled at last year's E3 as Project Natal, Kinect was given its final retail name at this year's trade show, and became the focus of Microsoft's pre-E3 media briefing. Although confirmed to be launching in November, pricing for the unit has still yet to be announced.
Current rumours suggest a price announcement at Gamescom of around $190.
Media reaction to the device (and in particular its initial line-up of games) has been mixed, but in comments made to website Industry Gamers Sebastian stated: "We expect roughly 3 million units of Kinect to ship worldwide in calendar year 2010, with Microsoft selling Kinect on its own or as part of a hardware bundle."
A new slimline version of the Xbox 360 console was also unveiled at Microsoft's briefing, and is widely expected to be made available as part of a new hardware bundle with Kinect.

It's a color we know so well, but it looks like Microsoft would like to dissociate itself from its RROD heritage, or perhaps just ran out of red LEDs: the new Xbox 360 only has a green ring around its power button, so even if you wrap the thing in a blanket and set it on fire, it won't be flashing red to tell you how it feels. This was unearthed in a spec sheet that Joystiq received from a tipster, along with all the other fancy specs you can see above. Overall the console is 17% smaller, which really goes to show that Microsoft was much more interested in noise and heat reduction than sliding the new 360 into a smaller crevice of your home entertainment center.

Epic Games has shown off the new Beast mode for Gears of War 3 that Cliff Bleszinski announced at Microsoft's E3 conference on Monday.
Beast is like Horde in reverse, apparently - in other words, you play as the Locust and face waves of humans.
It's not that simple though - you can pick between different classes of Locust and earn Tokens by murdering enemies and not dying, which you can then spend on more powerful variations.
For example, you might start out as a Ticker - the little bomb-wearing self-destructing bastards from Gears of War 2 - and depending on how you approach the development tree you could eventually graduate to a Mauler Boomer, or if you choose a different path you might end up as one of those bow-and-arrow gits who whisper a lot.
There's way more details on the progression in Beast, and how it feels to play (hint: excellent) in our newly minted Gears of War 3 hands-on preview, so you might as well read that.
Sadly there was no sign of the campaign mode at E3 beyond the trailer, but perhaps we'll learn more at gamescom in August.
Gears of War 3 is due out on 8th April 2011.

Cliff Bleszinski has revealed his regret in hyping Gears of War 2 with the infamous words "bigger, better and more badass" - arguing that the phrase "ultimately backfired in my face".
Epic's design director insists his team is now focused on making the "most polished Gears game we've ever produced" while "trying not to be as catchy with it this time".
Speaking to Eurogamer at E3 on what he described as his "love-hate" relationship with the press, Bleszinski admitted that games PR had "gotten completely out of hand, where you have to have a Twitter to tease in a teaser trailer to tease in the launch trailer to tease in the announcement press release."
But he added it was "sad" but "necessary" to "announce things multiple times to make things stick", with so many distractions competing for consumers' attention.
On the media, he reiterated his recent attack on sections of the games press, relayed via Twitter, criticising a culture "where certain websites like to grab any sort of quote that they can and put it up in a very, very large font and let the flame war ensue in the comments."
Acknowledging that games marketing and PR performed a similar function, he clarified: "I'm just pushing back against the complete misquotes and the fabrications."
Refraining from sloganeering this time, he said Gears 3 "is going to be the best looking, most fun, most feature rich - and, most importantly - most polished Gears game we've ever produced. With Gears 2 we raised the bar but everyone caught up and we're like, okay, we've got to hit back twice as hard."
Despite releasing to widespread acclaim and success, Bleszinski said he thought the team "got a little bit drunk on the whole idea of set-pieces" in Gears 2, promising a more balanced offering that enhances replayability.
"[Set-pieces are] wonderful, they have their own place - buildings collapsing, monsters bursting out," he said. "And we will absolutely have plenty of that. But one thing that got a little lost in the shuffle in Gears 2 is the idea of nice combat bowls.
"I hope it's a love letter to what everybody loved about the first game while taking the spirit of the story and the cinematic moments of the second and putting it together with a really crazy feature set."
Gears of War 3 is the final part in a trilogy of games. But, given the series' incredible success, a further franchise title from the studio seems likely. "If Gears of War 3 comes out and does extremely well we would most certainly consider another game," he said. "But what that would be would remain to be seen.
"Is it DLC? Its own thing? What happens with the next generation of consoles? It's hard to predict even a couple of years into the future right now."

With core game support for Move growing at a steady pace, the lack of traditional Xbox titles included in the Kinect launch line-up has stirred a few feathers. But Microsoft Game Studios’ corporate VP Phil Spencer says that this will be rectified… over time.
“Do I think that over time you'll see what I'll call a broader set of games? Yes,” he told IGN.
“Every one of our studios has Kinect and they're thinking about ways that technology, that part of the platform, can impact the creative that they're doing. Turn10 got on stage and showed how they think it integrates into the Forza experience. I thought that was good.”
And keeping very much in line with the casual, family-friendly nature of the platform holder’s E3 showing, Spencer was keen to point out that there’s more to gaming than just the core audience.
“It's entertainment for everybody,” he added. “We went out with a launch portfolio of more than 15 games for Kinect this holiday, thinking that we have something for everybody.
“Now, gaming is broad already. There are a lot of people out there with different tastes. We can look at what sells and you see a lot of different things selling. Now at launch are we going to touch everybody with their specific instance of what they want? Some yes, some no.”

Frontier is developing Kinectimals; a key first-party published release for the Xbox 360's much hyped Kinect motion control system.
The excessively cute children's game somewhat apes the pet-raiseing template most successfully implemented by Nintendo's Nintendogs, and lets users form lasting relationships with virtual wildlife, or flounce around on the floor impersonating a tiger cub, depending on your perspective on Kinect and its physical interaction model.
Still, visually Frontier's creation looks impressive, and being developed as it is by Braben's studio, the quality bar will no doubt be suitably high.
Today on his Twitter feed, Braben revealed his delight at the fact that Kinectimals has received an unnamed 'best of E3 nomination.

June 17th, 2010, 17:07 Posted By: wraggster
Microsoft has told GamesIndustry.biz that it will announce the price point for its motion-based control system Kinect at this year's gamescom.
The Cologne event, taking place in mid-August, will also see a raft of new announcements on product.
That's according to country manager for Entertainment & Devices at Microsoft Germany, Oliver Kaltner, who explained that the company was keen not to distract people from the accessibility of Kinect at this point.
"I believe that the price point is not the critical topic, but something you need at the end of the communication in order to place a product properly into a market," he told GamesIndustry.biz Germany at this year's E3 Expo. "From that standpoint pricing is an important topic for our target groups, our partners and, of course, also for us.
"I also think it is the right decision not to determine price points now, because it distracts completely from our actual core story with all its possibilities in the area of gaming, movie, music and social entertainment. We firmly believe that we can offer an unique innovation.
"We have first and foremost a product to offer that doesn't have any entry barriers - which means that the access to fun, family entertainment and social entertainment is a direct access. I would never be able to communicate all these aspects if we mentioned a price point.
"That would mean that the price is the key point of our message, and it does not belong there for now. We will find a price which is attractive in the market," he added.
The company is currently under pressure from rival Sony, which priced its Move peripheral at £39.99 / €39.99 / $49.99 this week, while reports put Kinect at a rumoured figure of $189 - despite speculation last year that Natal (as it was known then) would come in at around $50.
"You develop a product, you look at the markets and at a certain point you end up being confident that it offers good value for money and is relevant in the market," continued Kaltner.
"Beyond that we have to consider that E3 is a very important event for the whole industry. But we are still two weeks in our last fiscal year. That means we are in the middle of the endgame of finalizing our budgets and we of course use our insight from E3 to evaluate the market volume again.
"Being responsible for the business in Germany, it comes in handy to still have a certain flexibility. In eight weeks we are at gamescom and we will know the price not later than that, because we will start to sell [to retail]."
And Kaltner also revealed that there was plenty more to come from the Cologne event this year, with Microsoft lending it strong support.
"Microsoft is without doubt the significant force at E3 this year," he claimed. "However, for me personally it is even more important what I can learn out of that for gamescom.
"I am very proud to say that Microsoft as a corporation did understand, how important gamescom is. We will have a much bigger and more spectacular appearance at gamescom this year than we did last year.
"We have invested well - and because we did not unveil everything on E3 we will have also for gamescom a lot of fresh information."

Kinect won't work if players are sitting down, claim developers who've worked with Microsoft's motion cam.
Microsoft has said that playing Kinect sitting down "varies" by experience, but several developers have argued "the exact opposite", according to IGN.
We think, if true, this could massively hamper Kinect's popularity. Both the Wii and PlayStation Move allow players to sit down while playing, which is an essential for those who play games for hours on end.
Sounds like you'll have to 'drive' standing up in Forza Motorsport Kinect then.
We brought you the full line-up of Kinect launch titles on Monday.
Update: Aaron Greenberg posted on his Twitter account earlier, "Yes you can sit or stand with Kinect, depends on the game or experience." (Thanks Black Mantis)
It's pretty much a reiteration of Microsoft's 'it varies' comment above but could suggest you can race sitting down. Result.

One of the largest gaming events, the E3 in Los Angeles has started. There will be no more controllers in your hand, it's no longer about button sequences, it's about your actual movements .
The sleek, shiny Kinect™ holds a camera and sensor unit that follows your movements so precise that it really opens a new gaming dimension, far beyond simple party games.
The Kinect™ also features speech recognition adding voice commands to take control of the menus and games. Simply tell your console to play a game or go online for a video chat or similar.
The Kinect™ will come in November, preorder it today to test out the new gaming experience before everyone does.

All Kinect compatible games and accessories you will find in our new Kinect category.
The aim of the Kinect™ is to get you off the couch. The 15 launch titles are covering a wide range of activities. You can do body building under the guidance of the coach, learn a new dance, grab onto an imaginary wheel and use your whole body to control your game car, or go on an adventure which you need to solve puzzles and move muscles to win.
Join a game by jumping into the action. Without having to use controllers, you can include as much people as your living room could hold into your game. Let your family jump in and out of the fun, or pull them into your adventure to assist you whenever you need them.
Take pictures of your winning pose and share them on the net when you finish. The series of games will be released in November so you can have something to test your Kinect action with. Currently we have 6 of the 15 games in our database, available on preorder, more will be added soon:

Fans of parody shmups like Parodius, take note: the impossible has happened, and Konami has announced a new shmup for North America. Otomedius Excellent, an Xbox 360 exclusive due this winter, is the first localized iteration of Konami's weird shooter franchise featuring anime girls in the form of classic Konami ships. Like a girld dressed up as Gradius's Vic Viper. There's even a Belmont for some reason.

At an evening event in LA tonight, Bungie confirmed that the Firefight co-op multiplayer mode from Halo 3: ODST would return in this year's Halo: Reach.
It will be expanded and improved with new gametypes, the implementation of full Xbox Live matchmaking support, and deep customisability via the in-game editor.
Check out this colourful Firefight in Halo: Reach screenshot gallery.
The new modes, which Bungie has used the editor to create, include a more "crafted" and shorter default Firefight mode; Firefight Classic, which has the same settings as ODST; Generator Defense - a variant of the beta test's Network Test 1; and the chaotic Rocketfight in which all loadouts feature rocket launchers with infinite ammo.
Unlike ODST Firefight, the Reach version will be supported by full matchmaking and all the networking features of Reach multiplayer, including Active Roster, Queue-Joining, four-player co-op over live and two-player split-screen per console.
You'll be able to create and share your own Firefight modes, tweaking parameters such as wave properties, match duration, custom skulls, Spartan loadouts and settings including health and jump height, weapon drops, and where generators are located.
Wave traits include the "shootiness" of enemies and how powerful they are; as an example, you could set up a mode in which you face infinite waves of ultra-powerful Grunts.
Any modes you create can be shared with friends and the wider Halo community by uploading them to your file share.

It's the big E3 focus for Sony and Nintendo, but Microsoft UK boss Neil Thompson has dismissed 3D as “an interesting technology of the future” that's still too expensive for consumers.
Speaking exclusively to our sister site Eurogamer.net at E3, Thompson instead backed the experience of Kinect, the company's hands-free motion-control tech, over the 3D experiences offered by rivals. He said:
"If you look at the costs of entry into the living room and when that's going to become mass-market, we think the offering with Kinect and the natural user-interface we're bringing, that's a more compelling proposition for consumers over the coming years than maybe looking at 3D at this point."
Nintendo used its E3 press conference to unveil 3DS, a new handheld that produces a 3D effect without the need for glasses, to rave reviews. Sony, meanwhile, handed out 3D eyewear to all attendees during its event and hosted a live demo of Killzone 3 in 3D. PS3 users will, however, require a 3DTV to experience the enhanced visuals.
Meanwhile, Thompson refused to be drawn on pricing for Kinect, which Microsoft has remained tight-lipped on during its E3 events.
He said: "We haven't decided to announce that at this point and we'll make that decision in due course and then announce it in due course. We haven't landed on a date yet when exactly we'll announce it, but when we do we'll let you know."

Ubisoft will be rolling out two motion-controlled sports compilations this Q4 in order to support Microsoft and Sony’s hardware launches.
The company announced Racquet Sports and MotionSports during its E3 press conference. The games have been designed exclusively for Move and Kinect, respectively.
Racquet Sports will be released first, hitting shelves shortly after the Move’s launch around the end of September, and features sports such as tennis, badminton and squash. The Racquet Sports franchise has previously been released for Wii, but this edition has been developed specifically for Sony’s technology.
MotionSports, meanwhile, features a much more varied roster of sports, including football (both English and American types), skiing, horseback riding, hang gliding and boxing. Each game has been developed for the controller-less input of Microsoft’s Kinect.
MotionSports has been confirmed as one of 15 launch titles for Kinect, which is due to be released in the UK in November..

During its packed E3 conference overnight, Ubisoft revealed that old mascot Rayman is making a comeback.
What's more, Another World designer Eric Chahi is working on a game called Project Dust.
Both are digital distribution titles by the looks of it. Rayman Origins has no release date but is looking very pretty in its trailer below.
According to Ubisoft bossman Yves Gullemot, a team of just five people have been working on the game, which has hand-drawn, cel-shaded 2D visuals and classic platforming gameplay.
Rayman hasn't really been seen much since the Raving Rabbids took over his franchise and then dispensed with him. Poor old Rayman.

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Live online gaming service will be launched in nine new regions over the course of the current year, including key emerging territories such as Brazil and Russia.
Although Xbox Live has been available in North America, Japan and most PAL nations since its launch on the original Xbox console, and on 360 since 2005, users in other countries have so far been forced to create accounts in neighbouring territories.
According to a press release released after Microsoft's pre-E3 media conference yesterday, the service will now officially roll out in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Russia and South Africa this year.
Yvette van Rooyen, product and marketing manager of Xbox 360 South Africa, said of the announcement, "This is an exciting step forward in the experience we can deliver to our loyal and committed Xbox communities. Xbox fans in South Africa will now be able play the best games in the industry with the 23 million other Xbox Live users across the world who have made this their online gaming destination of choice."
"Xbox Live is about building communities and connecting people to each other and to great content," added Marc Whitten, general manager of Xbox Live. "This expansion is another step toward our vision for Live – to deliver the entertainment you want, shared with the people you care about, wherever you are in the world."
Additionally, video-on-demand programming from satellite and cable TV provider Foxtel will be made available this year for Australian Xbox owners. The service will not require a set-top box, and will likely be similar to the Sky service offered in the UK.

June 15th, 2010, 21:48 Posted By: wraggster
Microsoft has announced details of its 2010 Summer of Arcade promotion on Xbox Live Arcade, led by Konami's Castlevania: Harmony of Despair and Square Enix/Eidos' Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
Five games will be included in the promotion, with the new Castlevania title being a multiplayer adaption of the long-running 2D action series. The Guardian of Light is a two-player co-operative adventure featuring a fixed isometric perspective, rather than the free-roaming camera of Tomb Rader.
The third game is Hydro Thunder Hurricane, a remake/reboot of Midway coin-op and Dreamcast water-based racing game Hydro Thunder.
The other two games in the promotion are Limbo and Monday Night Combat, both also published by Microsoft. Limbo is a stylish black & white platform game from indie studio Playdead Games, while Monday Night Combat is a class-based shooter often compared to Valve's Team Fortress 2.
The annual promotion event has previously proven highly successful in highlighting prominent Xbox Live Arcade titles, with the first line-up including Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Braid. This subsequently led to a 67 per cent increase in revenues on the online service.
The promotion of Trials HD, 'Splosion Man, TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 in 2009 was even more successful, with a subsequent 200 per cent increase in revenues.

Microsoft has clarified the initial launch line-up for new controller-free control system Kinect, with 15 titles due for the US launch on November 4.
The company has yet to officially announce a price for Kinect, although an apparent leak by US retailer GameStop suggests that the standalone unit will cost $149.99. Rumours also abound that Kinect will ship in two different SKUs.
The full line-up of launch titles has been confirmed as the following:
Kinect Sports (Microsoft)
Kinect Adventures! (Microsoft)
Kinectimals (Microsoft)
Kinect Joy Ride (Microsoft)
Your Shape: Fitness Evolved (Ubisoft)
Dance Central (MTV Games)
EA Sports Active 2 (EA)
Sonic Free Riders (Sega)
Deca Sports (aka Sports Island) Freedom (Hudson)
Dance Masters (Konami)
Adrenalin Misfits (Konami)
Zumba Fitness (Majesco)
Motion Sports (Ubisoft)
The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout (THQ)
Game Party: In Motion (Warner Bros)
Other games confirmed to support Kinect include the unnamed Star Wars and Forza Motorsport titles shown at Microsoft's pre-E3 conference and due for release in 2011. Kinect will also offer video chat via the 360 dashboard.
Although announced in 2009 as supporting the device there was no mention of Kinect functionality for Lionhead Studio's Fable III at this year's conference - nor any sign of key 2009 demonstration Milo & Kate. Subsequent preview events at E3 itself though may reveal further details of both games.
New games revealed this year as supporting the technology include Ubisoft's Child of Eden, a spiritual sequel to Rez from Q Entertainment, and Ubisoft's new Michael Jackson: The Game.
All Kinect titles will ship in a new, purple-coloured box - distinct from from the green hues of standard 360 games. More titles may well be announced as the show goes on.
