Scuba156 of Xbox1Crew released Batch Con Flag Remover:
[QUOTE]
Was getting tired of having to uncorrupt game saves from my banned console one by one, so i created Batch CON Flag Remover.
Just select the root folder of where you have saved all your save games, select whether to create a backup of each file (created as *.bak in the same folder) and click 'unflag'. Simple. The only thing it wont do is resign them if needed (unsure if the save files need to be signed, will look into it)
I have included all files required to run, if it doesnt run, try installing .Net 3.5
[v0.1a]
-Small bug fixed
-made window resizable
[v0.2]
+Now extracts game name from save file
+Now extracts save file name from save file
+Allows re ordering of columns
- Few bugs found that need fixing (no handled exception if you select an invalid folder, etc)
!UPDATE! v0.2 has been released - news/dwl updated.

Foouser released RAW2SMC v0.2 - tiny utility to convert a config_raw.bin file dumped via Xellous or NandPro(info) into a smc_config.bin file required by ibuild:
[QUOTE]
A lot of people have been having problems with not having their original dumps for ibuild, in order to create a freeBOOT image (people who bought their Xbox preflashed with XBR and no original dump). ibuild needs 10 important parts of the full NAND dump that include unique per-console data, and one of them is the smc_config.bin file. People who don't have their full dump are using so-called 'donor' files in order to create a freeBOOT image. The problem with using an smc_config.bin from a different console is that important configurations which are not 100% compatible with your own Xbox are being used, and your original ones are basically lost (for example, lost MAC address, lost calibration data which might lead to wrong temperature readings and more).
This tool will create a smc_config.bin file, using config_raw.bin file dumped via Xellous or NandPro, in order to assist those people to get their own customized freeBOOT image.

Nknave/Krizalid released Badblockremapper Helper For Nandpro:
[QUOTE]
Since we haven't had any updates with Badblockmover I decided to script a little batch file for my needs and I like to share it with you all.
I know, it's no super code, but it's something to help those who are struggling with bad blocks using Freeboot and suffer remapping manually.
- Supports FreeBoot v0.03x, XBR, etc.
- Supports all 16MB and 66MB dumps
- Strongly recomend NANDPro2b for virtual files.
Changes from v0.1 to v0.2
- Added nandchk v2.3 to avoid using 360 Flash Tool During the Process.
- Fixed a couple typos and made the script a little more stethic.
- You now have to enter the names of your source and target file.
* Source being the retail file that has bad blocks
* Target is the file that will be flashed to your console
* Name must be in this form: "nandname.bin" without quotes.

News via http://www.zunethoughts.com/news/sho...placement.html
About a month or two ago, I started to notice that my beloved Zune 80's battery life was dwindling. I have several daily podcasts that I subscribe to, and in the last couple of weeks, I've needed to plug the Zune into an AC adapter just to keep it alive long enough to get through my podcasts. The other day, it finally quit for good. I was listening to some John Prine at work (an artist I had never listened to, but was able to sample because of my Zune Pass). The Zune made a subtle "pop" sound in the headphones and went dead. When I plugged it into my computer, the screen showed the battery charging icon, but never would boot up. It just stayed in an endless state of battery charging.
I bit the bullet and ordered a replacement battery from RapidRepair ($24.99). I chose overnight shipping since it was only one dollar more than standard shipping (huh?), and the battery arrived right on time. Tonight, I did the surgery.

And just like that, blam, we have three new Zune HD apps: two games, and the stop watch app. Labyrinth, pictured above, should be quite fun - I've had similar games on my HTC Windows phones and they're a fun test of physical dexterity. All three apps are now available in the Zune Marketplace, though it did take me five tries to download the Labyrinth game (I kept getting a server error message).

Paired to go along with the beginning of the early access "friends and family" beta for Halo: Reach came the above tool, some seemingly military-grade Oster hair clippers, bundled in a heavy duty Pelican case that probably cost more than the clippers themselves. Inscribed with the WelcomeToNobleTeam.com URL – haven't you seen the short yet? – and delivered at the oh-so-welcome hour of 7am, the package contained another treat: a copy of Halo 3: ODST.
Of course, that ODST disc won't gain you access to the beta until May 3rd, but luckily this morning's announcement of a partnership between Halo Reach developer Bungie and Activision – solidifying the dev's departure from Microsoft, Halo, and platform-exclusivity – will give you plenty to think about over the next four days.

Microsoft has said that further updates to its Xbox Live Game Room retro-arcade have been pushed back "until further notice".
The delay was announced via Twitter by Microsoft EMEA Xbox editor Daniel Maher who said: "The latest batch of Game Room content has also been delayed until further notice - I'll let you know once a new date is confirmed."
Since the service's initial unveiling at this year's CES when Microsoft said that it intended to offer over 1000 titles in its first three years, it has already faced one delay.
At the end of March, the publisher said it wouldn't be adding any new arcade games to the Game Room for a month and that weekly updates wouldn't begin until a later-than-planned late April.
Last week news surfaced that Australian Game Room developer Krome Studios had been forced to axe more staff due to economic pressures.
Details weren't offered by the studio, but reports estimated that between 30 and 50 employees were laid off.

April 29th, 2010, 17:12 Posted By: wraggster
Microsoft has given its reaction to today's news that Activision has signed a ten-year exclusive publishing deal with Bungie.
A company spokesperson told CVG in a statement:
"Our partnership with Bungie as a first-party developer for Xbox 360 remains unchanged, and right now we're deeply engaged with them on the development of Halo Reach, which is poised to be the biggest game of 2010."
So there you have it. Single-mindedly concentrating on Reach. Bungie's last project before it releases new IP exclusively handled by Activision.
Nope, we still can't get our head round it either.
Earlier this year, Bungie refused to comment on whether its next project would be coming to PS3. Today's announcement suggests a multi-platform release.
Bungie was previously owned by Microsoft, but split with the company back in 2007 to become independent.

Earlier news that Bungie has signed an exclusivity deal with Activision now spells the end of a decade-long exclusive partnership between the Halo developer and Microsoft.
Earlier today it was reported that Bungie has signed a ground-breaking exclusivity deal with Activision publishing.
Activision announced that it now has the rights to publish all future Bungie games across multiple platforms and devices, meaning that the Halo studio’s exclusivity partnership with Microsoft is now over. The developer is now free to develop PS3, Wii, DS, PSP, iPhone titles and more.
Though it may have been immediately speculated that Bungie would take over the highly lucrative Modern Warfare IP, the deal will in fact see Bungie develop “new intellectual property”.
In a move that may be seen by some as lesson learnt for Activision, the deal allows Bungie to keep their own their intellectual property throughout the deal.

Rare is set to deliver a design keynote on making games for Natal at July’s Develop Conference.
The studio’s creative director George Andreas will speak in a session called ‘The Future IS Controller-Free Games and Entertainment’.
Rare is working on ‘one of the premier launch titles’ for Microsoft’s new controller, according to Andreas.
His talk will look at ‘the challenges faced regarding the new design philosophy at the studio’.
In a short quote provided to the organiser describing his session he warned: “Everything you’ve learnt over the last 25 years – throw it away!”
He will also ‘take a brief look at Rare’s last foray into the physical play space from yesteryear, and outline Rare’s vision for the future of physical based gaming’.

Here's a real concern everyone should be cognizant about: Just how many times can you reduce people to decrepit, withered husks writhing in agony until it starts getting a little ... old? Wouldn't it be nice if, between face-melting blasts of temporal energy, you could resort to dismemberment, impalement and tentacular catastrophe? What if you didn't have to suffer the slightest penalty or inhibition for spending the day shooting and stabbing anonymous meatbags, just as your desires dictated?
We'll likely never find out, but you can do all of that stuff in a video game if you buy Singularity on Xbox 360 and take advantage of a limited-time mail-in offer for a free copy of Infamous Prototype. Raven's time-twisting shooter is out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on June 29th.

Leaked images that appear to be from Microsoft's PartnerNet developer service suggest that Shenmue II may be heading to Xbox Live Arcade.
The source of the alleged leak is ImageShack user Xbox360Leaker, who previously posted supposed evidence of Jet Set Radio for XBLA.
In the images the title "Project Berkley II" is shown on Xbox360Leaker's Recent Games list, obscured by a bright red "Leak" watermark. The icon for the game is the disembodied head of Shenmue protagonist Ryu, leading to the rampant speculation you're reading right now.
SEGA has yet to respond to requests for comment.
The publisher recently announced plans to increase its focus on digital downloads, so the prospect of Dreamcast games appearing on PSN or Xbox Live Arcade is very real, even if there's a good deal of scepticism about the leaked images in question.
The picture also links to a YouTube channel showing what appears to be footage from pre-release Xbox Live versions of Hydro Thunder 2 and Zeno Clash.
A video of gameplay from the upcoming Xbox Live release The Secret of Monkey Island 2: Special Edition appears to have been taken down from the YouTube channel at the request of LucasArts, according to postings on the channel's comment thread.

April 27th, 2010, 16:59 Posted By: wraggster
UK-based peripheral maker Datel is to continue with its antitrust lawsuit against Microsoft, with a legal battle over the use of third party memory cards.
The company first filed the lawsuit in November 2009, after Microsoft blocked all but its own memory units from working on the Xbox 360. At the time Datel lawyers described Microsoft's actions as "predatory conduct undertaken to deliberately harm competition with no benefit whatsoever to consumers."
Microsoft (who is separately suing Datel over patent infringement for wireless controllers) attempted to have the lawsuit dismissed, but the US district court in San Francisco has ruled that Datel can proceed with five of the six original claims.
Microsoft had argued that Xbox 360 terms and conditions included an agreement that consumers would not use unauthorised accessories. The district court did not accept this though, nor Microsoft's reliance on a similar case involving Apple which featured a more binding contractual restriction.
The court did reject one of Datel's claims though, regarding Microsoft's alleged attempts at monopolisation of the console market - on the grounds that Datel was not a direct competitor.
"We’re gratified that the case will proceed and Datel looks forward to re-establishing the benefits of competition in the accessory market for all Xbox 360 users," said lawyer Daniel Asimow.

April 27th, 2010, 16:57 Posted By: wraggster
March 2010 sales on Xbox Live Arcade were the best on record, with a rise of 41 per cent on the same time in 2009, according to figures from market research firm FADE (Forecasting and Analyzing Digital Entertainment).
For the first time ever revenues in March topped $10 million (£6.5m) at an estimated $10.6 million. By comparison though sales in January and February were disappointing, with the latter estimated at just $6.8 million (£4.4m).
Overall this means that sales in 2010 have so far grown by only 5 per cent, on 2009's revenues.
The boost in March was attributed to the Block Party promotion, which highlighted the games Toy Soldiers, Perfect Dark, Scrap Metal and the free-to-download Game Room in a similar manner to the now traditional Summer of Arcade event.
Aided by the fact that it was the first game released, Toy Soldiers was the biggest seller of the month with an estimated 209,000 downloads resulting in $3.14 million (£2.0m) in revenues.
Nintendo 64 remake Perfect Dark was second with 161,000 downloads and revenues of $1.61 million (£1.0m). The less critically-acclaimed Scrap Metal saw 18,000 downloads and $270,000 (£176K) in revenues.
The most successful game of the month not featured as part of the Block Party promotion was Trials HD, first released in August 2009. FADE estimates that the game has now exceeded lifetime revenues of over $10 million (£6.5m).
FADE top 10 estimated Xbox Live Arcade games for March 2010, by revenue:
Toy Soliders - 209,000 units ($3.14m)
Perfect Dark - 161,000 units ($1.61m)
Trials HD - 53,000 units ($0.80m)
Battlefield 1943 - 37,000 units ($0.56m)
Castle Crashers - 34,000 units ($0.51m)
Hasbro Family Game Night - 32,000 units ($0.32m)
Scrap Metal - 18,000 units ($0.27m)
Marvel vs. Capcom - 25,000 units ($0.25m)
Shadow Complex - 13,000 units ($0.20m)
Magic: The Gathering - 16,000 units ($0.16m)
