According to Andriasang's translation of a post on Capcom's Japanese blog, the developer is planning to roll out a patch for Super Street Fighter IV on June 15 -- the same day as the release of the game's Tournament Mode DLC -- which will remove a few exploits and address some balancing issues players have discovered since the title's launch. For the full list of (highly technical) changes included in the update, just click past the jump.
The patch remedies a few sizable issues, such as the unblockable Ultra exploit -- however, it doesn't return E. Honda's "Thousand-Hand Bitch Slap" maneuver to its original, unbeatable glory. Hopefully that particular fix will come in a later update.

Killzone 2 has become the recipient of the first ever Ivor Novello award for a videogame soundtrack at a ceremony held in London yesterday.
The game was nominated for the new best original score in a videogame category alongside Empire: Total War and and Savage Moon: Waldgeist.
Developed by Guerrilla Games, Killzone 2 featured a soundtrack composed by Joris de Man.
This year's 55th Ivor Novello Awards marked the first time videogames have been honoured in their own category alongside music from television and film, classical and contemporary songwriters.
"The Ivors has always sought to reflect the ever-changing world of songwriting and composing," Mark Fishlock, director of the Ivors Committee, explained when the game award was first unveiled. "The video games market has matured beyond recognition and big budget orchestral scores are regularly being commissioned."
Other categories included best contemporary song, best television soundtrack and and a lifetime achievement award. Winners are detailed on The Ivors website

BioWare's Casey Hudson has said that the controversial mining mini-game from Mass Effect 2 will not be thrown out for the third game in the series.
Asked whether it would be ditched by VideoGamer, Hudson replied: "No. Again, when you look at the feedback, there are things that people liked about it, and functionally it serves a purpose.
"I don't think there's a problem with any of those. I think it's the way people relied on it, and the way we relied on it maybe too much in parts of the story. And also just when you think about the speed of it."
Mining in Mass Effect 2 was necessary to collect the minerals used to pay for upgrades to the Normandy SR-2 and the crew's weapons and armour.
The process involved scanning planets by dragging a cursor across the surface before launching a probe over spots that the scanner indicated were rich in minerals.
According to Hudson, the feedback on mining prior to release was that it was "strangely addictive" and "therapeutic" - something that we agreed with in our 10/10 Mass Effect 2 review.
But reaction to mining on release was mixed. "There were a lot of people that when they know that they can go and get resources through something like that, they literally want to mine the entire galaxy that night," Hudson acknowledged.
"And then, yeah, when you spend eight hours in a mini-game, it does become... there's only so much too it. And we never expected that it'd be played that way. We thought people would noodle in it a bit, get a few resources to get an upgrade, and then go back and do the rest of the game."
All hail the mining mini-game. Almost as good as Viva Pinata.

We put some of your questions (as well as some of our own) to Lazlow, one of the game's developers and the radio DJ featured in the GTA games. Here's what he had to say.

While the whole game industry was apparently tanking last month, it looks like people were still snapping up Microsoft Points. TechFlash noted late last week that the 1600 Microsoft Point card (equivalent to $20 in Earth money) was the top-selling "accessory" for both March and April, according to NPD. We decided to get in touch with the NPD Group for a closer look at how the accessory battle has been shaping up.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the 1600 point card's closest competitors come from Nintendo (people have to play all those copies of New Super Mario Bros. Wii with something after all). In April, the Wii Nunchuk and Remote took the second and third spots, respectively. In March, the second and third spots belonged to the Nunchuk and Wii Motion Plus. The month prior, the card was actually at No. 2, so it seems like Microsoft is doing a pretty brisk business in MS Points.
The question, of course: Just why was everyone stocking up on Microsoft Points? Oh, right.

Yesterday's new Xbox Live Arcade additions were Metal Slug XX and Aqua.
Of the two, Metal Slug XX is more expensive (1200 Microsoft Points). This is a 2D shooter with several multi-path levels to wade through. There a couple of new characters to mix things up, plus a Combat School with over 70 missions to tackle. The Metal Slug XX Xbox page has a bit more information.
Aqua costs 800 Microsoft Points. This is Steampunk naval warfare; you're a little ship that must chug around blasting other bigger ships. There's multiplayer. The Aqua Xbox page offers a few screenshots.

Bethesda developer Ashley Cheng has suggested that Microsoft opens the Natal API for anyone to use and said that doing so could result in a "killer app that has nothing to do with gaming" being created.
Speaking on his blog, the Fallout 3 production director said that he had been blown away when he first saw Natal, but that the technology seemed wasted on games.
"Seeing it in action, I was totally blown away by it. It seems wasted on games, really," he wrote.
"Microsoft should open the Natal API up like Apple does with the iphone/ipad. Let anyone make a Natal 'app'. I bet someone makes a killer app that has nothing to do with gaming," he said.
Earlier this month, Microsoft Saudi marketing manager Syed Bilal Tariq confirmed that Natal would launch at some point in October with an exact date being announced by Microsoft at this year's E3.

Rockstar has said it is working on a patch to resolve issues with Red Dead Redemption multiplayer.
Since the game's US release on Tuesday players have discovered a few glitches that result in invisible guns, hats, cougars and horses.
The invisible horse footage is pretty special.
"We're aware of the issues some people are experiencing on multiplayer and we're working hard to fix them," Rockstar said in a statement (thanks Kotaku).
"If you're having issues please email RDRSupportteam@rockstargames.com. We are also actively on the forums helping people with any questions they may have about the game."
Earlier this week Rockstar released a small patch to fix system link issues.
The game is due out in Europe tomorrow, 21st May, and has been picking up great reviews all over. Check out our Red Dead Redemption review to find out what makes Rockstar San Diego's vision of the West so appealing.

UFC Undisputed 2010 will require players to enter a redeemable code supplied with the game in order to use its online functions.
Review copies of the game pitched up at the Eurogamer office yesterday complete with 12- and 15-digit codes for PSN and Xbox Live access respectively.
That makes THQ the latest company to hide multiplayer features behind a redeemable code in an attempt to undermine second-hand sales, from which publishers make no money.
People who buy the game second-hand when the code has already been redeemed will need to pay a one-time charge of $5 for the same access.
EA Sports recently announced that, starting with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, future releases on PS3 and Xbox 360 would require gamers to enter a one-time code to unlock multiplayer features.
Earlier this week Ubisoft CFO Alain Martinez said the French publisher would "probably follow that line sometime in the future" when asked about the EA Sports "Project Ten Dollar" policy, which CEO John Riccitiello reportedly green-lit last year in an attempt to strengthen the value of EA titles.
Last weekend GamesIndustry.biz columnist and Eurogamer contributor Rob Fahey argued that the decision to restrict multiplayer access is a case of publishers attempting to weaken the value of second-hand games, whereas earlier initiatives - such as bundling free DLC coupons with Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 - were more acceptable because they were designed to add value to first-time sales.
THQ explained to Destructoid that the UFC Undisputed 2010 restrictions would prevent players without the code from accessing the new Fight Camp mode where players can assemble up to 40 people and train together online.
"This is a significant value-add to the game as players can continually improve their skills by training with their friends and bringing teams of MMA specialists together," the publisher said in a statement.
"This multiplayer content for UFC 2010 Undisputed will be available via a one-time code included with the game at purchase. Codes for accessing the content will be available for second-time buyers for an additional $5."

Microsoft and Foxtel today announced a new partnership that will soon offer Australians the chance to watch pay television via their Xbox 360 console rather than a set-top box.
The service is one of the first of its type in the world and will launch "towards the end of the calendar year". It will be accessible to all homes in Australia that have a broadband internet connection.
An Xbox Gold subscription will be required in addition to a Foxtel by Xbox LIVE subscription.

News via http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox1data/...uEhzGqNvQb.php
Krizalid released Build Xellous v0.1, a PC app that builds XeLLous for first time JTAG:
[QUOTE]
Build XeLLous v0.1 (uses ibuild, nandpro2b and donor files)
- Simply start the app and type the motherboard type you want it for and it will build it for you.
Final size is in 50 blocks (hex), or 80 16kb blocks. NAND area is 0 > 4F
- NOTE and WARNING: This will make a fully working XeLLous to flash for the first time to your 360. Keep in mind that it's based on FreeBoot's ibuild and it will look to launch the rebooter if you power on with the "power button", please power on with the "eject button" and drive attached.
What's the main idea?
- Rapidly build Xellous.bin for your console so you may acquire "fuses.txt" and "flashdmp.bin" via FTP and create your FreeBoot or XBR Image and flash, instead of flashing all from PC (may take forever using LPT)
This version does have both Jasper's South Bridge versions of the SMC so that you may build for Jasper16 or JasperBB and not having a black screen boot up on you
