The Team XeDev proposes a new version of NXE2GOD, a utility Xbox 360 consoles to the execution of unsigned code (JTAG / XBReboot / Freebooter).
This will make the game appear on the copied hard drive in the original games on demand and to avoid inserting the DVD game in the drive.
New / fixed:
- Fixed a bug that could prevent a proper conversion of some games because files could not be moved where they have been.
- Slight increase in speed.

We've got some good news and some bad news for those of you eagerly awaiting EA's Medal of Honor reboot this summer. The good news first: Five new, high-resolution images of the game -- albeit stills from the debut trailer -- are in the gallery below. Now, the bad: We count only one Tier 1 Operator featured in the screens with a beard. We know, we know -- it shocked us, too!
We'll make some calls and demand that the appropriate amount of facial hair rendering be included in the next batch. You can thank us later.

Once Halo Reach hits, bringing with it a brand new multiplayer experience and separate servers, does that mean Halo 3's multiplayer servers will be shut down?
"I dont think we would pull the plug," said Brian Jarrard, Bungie's community director. "Halo 2 was the number one game until the Halo 3 lauch, and it was still supported until this April.
"I think it would be safe to say we wouldn't be investing so much time into doing massive matchmaking updates and then just turn (Halo 3 online support) off and walk away from it.
"Will we hope that people will migrate to Reach because it represents all of the good things from Halo 3 but better and more so? Sure, but I guarantee that there are hardcore gamers, like the pros who make their livelihoods off of playing Halo 3, who might take awhile to move over.
"I cant imagine a world where Halo Reach and Halo 3 don't coexist."

Capcom has confirmed that MotoGP 09/10 is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 next month.
The game will be released on 19th March, to be precise. You'll be able to update the game with all the 2010 season content, including the new Silverstone track and team. The update will be available shortly after the game goes on sale and will be free to download.

Bad Company 2 follows Mass Effect 2’s lead in offering DLC incentive for buyers of new game
Following the model laid down by Mass Effect 2’s Cerberus Network, EA has confirmed that the upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will also penalise those who buy it second hand.
Anyone who buys a new copy of the title will find inside a code that can be used to access an online hub providing free DLC that significantly boosts the game’s single and multiplayer offer.
Those who buy it pre-owned, however, will have to spend around $15 to buy a new code from EA or else face playing it sans the features enjoyed by others.
“We want people to insert the code they get when they buy the game to get access to DLC content,” producer Patrick Bach explained to MTV.
“It's connected to your personal account, more or less, and what we want to do is give you something extra, added value, for that. In the future you will get more content, for free, if you have this VIP code.”
Much like BioWare, the exact rewards for joining the network – or conversely, the punishments for shunning it – have not yet been revealed. Only these details will prove whether that pre-owned punishment will truly be too much for consumers to bear.

Having last month confirmed its intentions to publish Ninety-Nine Nights II in Japan, Konami has now signalled its intentions to publish the game in the UK and Europe.
Question marks had been hanging over the series’ future in the UK after Microsoft – publisher of the first game – handed over duties to Konami for the sequel, despite the fact that it is being developed by part-owned studio Feelplus, with Q Entertainment acting as co-developers.
The game specialises in large-scale battles and, unlike its predecessor, will offer online co-op.
It will be released on Xbox 360 in Europe this spring.

February 18th, 2010, 01:15 Posted By: wraggster
This week, both Sony and Microsoft have moved forward with plans to integrate their console's online networks with handheld devices. Thing is, they're doing it wrong.
While Microsoft's WM7 interface looks amazing, the way it's making use of Xbox Live is wasteful. Counter-productive. Same goes for Sony; while it's admirable the company wants to allow PS3 and PSP users to access the PlayStation Network from Sony Ericsson phones, the execution is lacking.
Why? Because both companies, crippled by an inflexible corporate structure, are hung up on the word "exclusive".
How mobile access to your console accounts should work is via a universal app. A common program you can install on an iPhone, an Android phone, a Nexus One, a Windows phone, a Sony Ericsson smartphone. Because that's the variety of phones we, as console owners, possess. While every 360 owner has a 360, they don't all own the same phone.
It's a philosophy certain sections of these giant companies are in tune with. Microsoft, for example, has an application for competitor Apple's iPhone, for its Bing search engine. It also releases Office software for the Mac, despite Apple's computer being, in many respects, a rival to Microsoft's own ambitions in the personal computing space.
Microsoft does this because, to the people working on Bing and Office, it makes business sense. It's catering to a market, and in doing so, making money. The problem is, not all sections of these companies employ such common sense. They're cut off, operating in isolation (and in some cases even competition), so what may seem a logical idea to one area seems like heresy to another.
Clinging to outdated notions of "exclusivity", then, both Microsoft's Xbox Live Mobile and Sony's PlayStation Network will be available only to people owning phones sold by those companies. Own a 360 and an Android phone? You're shit out of luck, you can't use it. Own a PS3 and an iPhone? Same deal.
It's just so...disappointing. Here, years after the release of these consoles and the dawn of the smartphone era, and the first officially-sanctioned services to bring consoles and smartphones together are dead on arrival, rendered useless by the fact that the world's most popular phone platforms - a list that does not include anything running Windows Mobile (business customers so don't count) or anything made by Sony Ericsson - are cut out of the action.
Sure, there are home-made options - 360Live on the iPhone is particularly good - but in 2010 we shouldn't be relying on fan-made projects. I should be able to pick up my iPhone, and while way from home, be able to check my friends list, my Gamerscore and my PSN trophies on something supported by the console manufacturer. Hell, that's just for starters. I can do that stuff with Twitter and Facebook already. In a perfect world, we'd be able to send messages to other users and queue up our downloads as well.
But we can't. And probably never will. Instead, one day in the future, we may actually meet a person that was able to take advantage of all these neat new services. And they'll say how neat they were. And how it was such a shame he was the only person he knew that ever used them, since all his friends already owned iPhones or Androids....

Midway Games' Xbox Live Arcade portfolio has, as if by magic, mysteriously disappeared.
Gone are Mortal Kombat 3, Defender, Gauntlet, Paperboy and Smash TV.
Are they being held back for the release of Game Room - the virtual Xbox Live arcade space - this March? Or have they fallen foul of legal muddy waters, as they belong to a company that no longer exists?
We'll attempt to find out.
The French and UK operations of Midway were bought by Martin Speiss last August and are now known as Tradewest Games.

Battlefield producer Karl Magnus Troedsson discusses winning back the FPS crown
“Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is about to make some serious noise” – that's the claim of the game's executive producer Karl Magnus Troedsson, speaking to MCV in an interview ahead of the release of DICE's latest shooter.
“I couldn’t be more happy with the game – which the awesome team here in Stockholm has created – and I hope everyone will get to experience the huge leap in quality that we’re taking here.”

Konami has just confirmed that they will be publishing Ninety-Nine Nights II for Xbox 360 in Europe this spring.
Billed as a "vast combat title", Ninety-Nine Nights II invites the player to take on campaigns from five different perspectives - including humans, elves and Goblins - and are pitted against wave after wave of adversaries in the ultimate 'last man standing' free-for-all.
How ultimate? The recent press release claims that the game can display hundreds of enemy on the screen at any one time. Players will use whatever weapons are lying around to cut through the waves before facing a "Titan Boss Battle".
Check out the screenshots here and tell us what you think.

This board is a rebuild board, do you remember having to wire up the traces that you cut at the beginning of the MRA method to read the Liteon Firmware? Well, this board can be used to avoid doing that re-wire, while the use of this board IS NOT REQUIRED to use the Vampire, the use of this board will simplify the full mod procedure, and it has a couple of extra features like making easy access to the probe spots for the vampire and at the end of the job you can choose route the PIN 101 to the power connector of the drive for future updates without re-open.
Simply use the rebuild board from the beginning of the installation and we are sure you will find it useful.

Make your mind up. Final Fantasy XIII producer Yoshinori Kitase has denied that there are plans to release any downloadable content for the RPG epic, just weeks after saying there would be.
"Regarding the DLC content, we feel that the final product is 100 per cent enjoyable... it's the complete package. So we're not planning any DLC at this time," Kitase told the PlayStation blog.
He also moved to clear up talk of a large amount of content that had been cut from the game, which many guessed might form the basis of future DLC plans.
"In regard to the rumoured cut content, we feel it was taken out of context," Kitase said. "There are a lot of ideas that are brought to the table, and then the team takes the best ideas out of those, and the final product is polished that way. There was content that were 'ideas' that didn't make the final content, but the team isn't looking to release that as downloadable content."
There seems to be some confusion here, but we're going to err on the side of "not happening".
