Capcom revealed a few details on the plan to continue Dragon's Dogma, the 2013 expansion pack "Dark Arisen." The DLC will feature the requisite "more stuff" you'd expect, packing in new armor and weapons, greater character customization options and a Japanese voiceover option, because nothing screams medieval fantasy like Japanese dialogue.
"Dark Arisen" will allow you to transfer your save file from Dragon's Dogmavanilla and takes adventurers to a new dungeon located in the Bitterblack Isle,Capcom-Unity says. It may not be the safest travel destination, but we hear Bitterblack's shopping district is a real must-see.

Attention all songbirds: your time to shine is almost here. Microsoft and Stingray Media's Karaoke will be hitting Xbox Live on December 11th. The game is free to download, but would-be vocalists will have to purchase playing sessions of two, six and 24 hours respectively priced at: 240, 400 and 800 Microsoft points. While this costly pay to play approach mirrors a traditional karaoke lounge's setup, you'll definitely save a few bucks on overpriced booze refreshments -- that's gotta count for something, right?

Assassin's Creed III moved 2.9m, NFS: Most Wanted 509k
Microsoft's Halo 4 sold 3.2 million units in the US during November, according to NPD sales data leaked by analyst firm Cowen and Company.
The title was the second biggest boxed game in the region during the month, with Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 topping the charts with 7.5 million units sold.
Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III also performed well, shifting 2.9 million units, while further down the sales chart was Electronic Arts' Need for Speed: Most Wanted, selling 509,000 units.
The numbers follow data last night that showed the US boxed games business was down 11 per cent to $2.55 billion.

The next outing in the acclaimed BioShock series won't be arriving the February as planned.
Instead, the hotly anticipated Irrational Games project will hit shelves on March 26th – exactly one month later than its planned February 26th release.
Irrational boss Ken Levine told the press at a recent preview event that the delay is to allow more time for fixing bugs and polishing, according to Eurogamer.
"Where [former Gears of War franchise director] Rod Fergusson came on board we looked at the game," said Levine.
"He was there for about a month and he said, 'look, I've been looking at the schedule and looking at the game and frankly you could really benefit from another three or four weeks for polish and bug fixing'.
"We talked about it. I knew I'd probably get beat up in the press a little bit about it. But at the end of the day, if it's going to make a better game we're going to do it.
"So the new date is March 26th. That's my bad news."
This is the second time the game has been delayed, but Levine dismissed suggestions that the game has had a troubled development, saying there has been "nothing particularly dramatic".

Mojang downloadable title selling around 40,000-60,000 copies per week months after launch
Minecraft continues to thrive in its Xbox 360 iteration. Mojang sales figures provided to Gamastura show that Xbox Live Arcade gamers have purchased Minecraft 4,476,904 times. According to the developer's own site, the PC/Mac Minecraft has been purchased 8,238,539 times.
Even after considerable time on the market, those numbers are continuing to increase at an impressive clip. The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft launched in May, and has been selling between 40,000 and 60,000 additional copies every week. That's about the same pace that the PC and Mac edition has managed, as it was just about four weeks ago that Mojang founder Markus "Notch" Persson confirmed the game had passed the 8 million threshold.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition sells for 1,600 Microsoft points ($20), while the PC version goes for $27. A Pocket Edition for Android and iOS devices is also available. The console game was developed by 4J Studios, which has made a name for itself bringing other games to Microsoft's download service. Previously, the studio handled the Xbox Live Arcade ports for Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, and Perfect Dark.

It's Microsoft's 23rd consecutive month as the top selling console
[h=3]Microsoft[/h]microsoft.com
Microsoft has just revealed its November total for the Xbox 360 in the US. Following a massive Black Friday week surge, when the hardware sold over 750,000 units, the Xbox 360 managed a total of 1.26 million for the month. It was the 23rd consecutive month that Xbox 360 managed to come out as the top selling console.
Total retail spend on the Xbox 360 platform in November (hardware, software and accessories) reached $1.2 billion, which was also the most for any console in the US, Microsoft said.
The company cited top games like Halo 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Assassin's Creed 3, and Madden NFL 13 for driving sales on the platform.

Most major games arrive in the UK with a bang: often a star-studded launch party, some form of high-profile PR stunt and a slew of midnight openings.
But while such launches are often a much more muted affair in other territories, there are some publishers trying to bring the spectacle of the West to every corner of the globe.
Ubisoft demonstrated this in October with the arrival of Assassin’s Creed III. The effort that went into the UK launchwas echoed – and even exceeded – across Europe, Africa and Asia, thanks to the publisher’s EMEA export team.
A combination of costume parties, record-breaking midnight launches and archery lessons made the game a landmark title for Ubisoft – and an interesting look at how gaming is celebrated in other countries.
“Assassin’s Creed III is a huge title for the Ubisoft Export business and it was always set to be our biggest release to date,” said Dan Gardener, marketing and PR manager for Ubisoft EMEA Export markets. “In fact, our day one shipment was a 40 per cent increase on last year’s Revelations.
“Assassin’s Creed III is our baby and we wanted to treat it well and buy it the best toys possible.”
Back in September, Ubisoft told MCV that it was spending a record £4m on marketing the newest Assassin’s Creed, and the publisher’s export team puts similar effort into promoting the game overseas.
“The marketing for this title reflected that and it’s our biggest spend for a single title within the export business to date and our partners in each territory have done an outstanding job,” said Gardener.
“We’ve been able to achieve a record number of TV campaigns in various territories along with some of the best in-store promotions, placements and pre-order initiatives and this doesn’t stop at Assassin’s Creed III.
“We have many awesome releases on the horizon that offer great scope for some more creative and qualitative campaigns.”
MAKING A KILLING AROUND THE GLOBE
India
The retail landscape in India is changing, with more and more specialists emerging from a land that previously had little dedicated support for console games.
Assassin’s Creed III marked a further change in the way titles are launched in the country: it was the first video game to prompt midnight openings from multiple games retailers.
Growing specialists such as Games The Shop, Landmark, Origin Games, Intencity and FOG all opened their doors in the middle of the night, with hundreds of Creed fans queuing to get their hands on Connor’s adventure.
The launches in Mumbai and Delhi were actually covered by local broadcaster Prime Television News Channel.

Winter holidays are, statistically speaking, the very best holidays, due to their general abundance of twice-baked potatoes and various pies. But when every serving at every meal contains at least three sticks of butter, those extra pounds can really pile up.
Nike and Microsoft recommend solving your tummy troubles by doing crunches in your living room while a virtual man watches, or as the system is commercially known, Nike+Kinect Training. They've even got an Xbox 360 bundle for it and everything, which includes a 4GB console, Kinect, Nike+Kinect Training, Kinect Adventures and a month of Xbox Live Gold for $250, as seen above. That price tag is only valid through January 5, we should point out. After that, the bundle is kicked up to $300.
Microsoft has also announced that the game itself will be digitally available through Xbox Live on December 25, at a smooth $50/4,000 MS points.

Giana Sisers: Twisted Dreams is coming to XBLA in spring 2013, from publisher bitComposer. Giana Sisters hit Steam in October as the second title to launch under Greenlight, published and developed by Black Forest Games. It appears bitComposer will be taking over all publishing duties, listing a PC launch for spring, too.
The (quite successful) Kickstarter for Giana Sisters listed a launch on PSN and XBLA in "early 2013," so we're keeping our eyes peeled for any PS3 news from bitComposer.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams pays homage to the platformers of yore, and does a wonderful job of it on PC. Sitting on the couch and holding a controller should only exaggerate that nostalgic joy. Unfortunately, blowing on the code of a downloadable game just isn't the same as blowing into a cartridge. But hey, give it a go anyway. You won't look insane at all.

Halo 4's episodic co-op campaign Spartan Ops will go on hiatus next week, concluding in January with the final five episodes of season one. Microsoft is also teaming up with Virgin gaming on the "Halo 4 Infinity Challenge," which has a V8-powered 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor (pictured), along with an appearance in a future Halo game, as its grand prize.
Those interested in participating in the Mountain Dew and Doritos presents, in association with Seven Eleven and Harvey's RV World, Halo 4 Infinity Challenge can register at www.halo4infinitychallenge.com. The tournament begins December 17 and will track War Games and Spartan Ops leaderboards, with over 2,800 prizes available. The qualifier phase will run until January 10.
After the qualifier section, players will be tiered into three groups, with the final phase taking place the week of January 12. Leaderboards will be reset at this time to award the top performers in each tier. No word yet if the new Ford F-150 handles like a Warthog.

Black Knight Sword, the second collaboration between Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture, will be released on XBLA December 12. The puppet-style side-scroller, announced at Gamescom in 2011, features constantly-shifting stage backgrounds, in the story of a Black Knight and his magical sword, on a journey to destroy, rather than save, a princess.
With the long, quiet development time, we wonder how much the game has changed. Specifically, we're worried the chicken guy who throws eggs at youisn't going to be there anymore.
