We have got lots of questions of people installing their xkey devices and we have chosen to add a temporary tab on Lizard Toolbox (New 1.43 version) with those tasks needed for setup the xkey device in no time. The whole procedure of setup is not hard but will confuse some beginners thats the reason we have added that Tab on the software.
Currently we have added 2 options mainly (so far):
a) Generate the xkey.cfg file
b) Generate a dummy.bin file from a fulldump (since xkey require dummy for slim consoles)
More functions will be added per common requests. The Toolbox update (1.43) can be obtained on our Download page or using the embeded Check for Updates feature (Settings->Check Lizard Updates).

It looks like Microsoft released a new Xbox360 Slim motherboard codename 'Corona'.
This new motherboard was found in a Forza 4 250 Go Pack with black matte finish, a Liteon 1071 ODD and 2011-08-17 MFR. The PSU goes from 10.83A (for the orginal 'Trinity' Slim motherboard) to 9.86A.
The biggest change it that it looks like the HANA chip is "gone". It is suggested the HANA and SouthBridge have been put together into 1 chip on this new motherboard. This could have (serious) implications for the Reset Glitch Hack (RGH) as it was using the HANA chip for the timing management (but there might be alternatives). But at this time it's too early to tell. However it is (very) unlikely this is a answer from MS to the RGH ... a motherboard revision takes months of preparation and this motherboard was manufactured before the RGH was even released.

We have released Wasabi 360 Ultra firmware v1.1 which includes the following changes:
* Added advanced configuration options, manipulated through the new wasabi.xml file
* Changed the default boot behaviour - now the previously used ISO file will be automatically mounted at boot, rather than the "mixed media" ISO list. Simply "eject" Wasabi in the usual manner in order to bring up the ISO list after boot. This behaviour can be configured (and thus reverted to the previous system) via wasabi.xml
* Added an update blocker feature, which prevents Xbox dashboard updates from being initiated from a Wasabi mounted ISO file. This is enabled by default, although it can be configured via wasabi.xml. We recommend that you leave this enabled at all times; if you wish you update your Xbox dashboard then you should do so with Wasabi in pass-through mode, launching the update either from Xbox live or from a USB stick
* The Wasabi ISO list has always had a feature where the most recently mounted ISO will be shown at the top of the list. From this release, this feature can be toggled on and off via wasabi.xml
* You can now specify any arbitrary folder on your HDD from which Wasabi should list ISO files, once again configured via wasabi.xml
* Various stability and performance tweaks
In addition to this, we've added an ISO thumbnail feature to the Wasabi 360 Ultra on-screen ISO menu. This feature is currently undergoing BETA testing and will be included in the v1.2 firmware release, due out in a few days. The v1.1 firmware release can be found in the downloads page. An updated user guide reflecting the above changes will be released shortly.
Finally, we can confirm that Wasabi 360 Ultra is compatible with the recently released 2.0.13604.0 system software update. The AP25 challenge table did not change with this dashboard update and thus, there is no change to the ap25.bin file.

cOz released Rawflash v2, which allows you to flash your NAND from Xell '2Stages' (RGH Xell):
[QUOTE]
Let's you flash full raw images (16 or 64MB) to your NAND. Started, as usual, via XeLL.
NOTE: It doesnt have Bad Block Handling!
place "nandflash.bin" on the root of a usb device
start 2stage xell and shut off when prompted (replug power if you changed SMC)
- by default it checks blocks before writing, and will NOT overwrite or erase any block with ecc/other issues (perfect for fbbuild images with auto remaps)
small change to libxenon was required to silence non-error messages
tested on falcon, trinity and jasper 256

Swizzy released a new version of CMD Freebooter, updated to work with the newly released fbBuild v0.33:
[QUOTE]
Overview - What it does
- It will create a Freeboot image with your given options, it uses ibuild and fbbuild to do this, so it doesn't really have the functions itself, it's more like a script then an actual program.
- You can set presets of various options within the program, this way if you do alot of machines that are similar you don't have to choose everything over and over, however you still need to restart the program after it completes building your nand.
- You may enable or disable logging if you like, you can choose output filename yourself or use the preset one (freeBOOT.bin)
- It'll if you want it to download the appropiate systemupdate for your version of rebooter (the downloads come from logic-sunrise)
- It'll read the file "cpukey.txt" and if it contains a cpukey this will be checked for typo's and if it passed it'll be used as your cpukey
What's new/fixed:
-Fixed: Bug with SMC option only beeing shown if Cygnos360 v2 for zephyr vas used (in the menu)
-Changed: fbBuild 0.33 is now beeing used
-Changed: Dashlaunch 2.25 is now beeing used
-Fixed: Dashlaunch 2.24 didn't work with 13604, previous version wasn't officially released, but some ppl has used it to build a almost complete 13604 image
-Added: Your nand is now used with fbbuild aswell when making your new nand, this means all your settings will be saved unless you choose not to in the options.ini, and your nand will be remapped by fbbuild at build time unless you disable that aswell in options.ini!

As many of you are aware we spent a few extra weeks fine tuning our RGH (Reset Glitch Hack) product – the CoolRunner – to make sure that the design was as optimized as possible (If you have been following our forum updates you will know that went through five different prototypes and pounded the mod in our labs to squeeze out every bug) we could find. We have completely changed the layout of the design as well as tweaked the install method and also designed some very sweet QSB’s for both phat and slim that enable both the CoolRunner and the NAND-X to connect to the Xbox at the same time with minimum effort. Boot times on all versions are fast and rock solid. For those who waited for a non-rushed RGH mod – you will not be disappointed.
The CoolRunner will be complete with all wires required. Each wire is cut to precise lengths and correct gauges and also pre-tinned. It is absolutely necessary to use these as instructed to provide optimum performance
As promised the MSRP is only $19.99 for the Xecuter CoolRunner – we expect stores to receive stock in the next 10 days. The Phat and Slim QSB kits will be available to purchase separately.
We don’t always post news to our front page so be sure to keep an eye on our support forums where we post daily updates on all our products and developments.
Here is a pic of the final design (Note: its hand soldered not production quality)
Here are some install pics. They are not final, but will show final versions with complete instructions next week.
Xecuter CoolRunner – Phat install with new version QSB for NAND-X/CoolRunner all in one
Xecuter CoolRunner – Slim install with new version QSB for NAND-X/CoolRunner all in one.
We have also designed a simple cable set for the Nand-X and CK3i so that the NAND-X can be updated to Tiros’ new NandPro 3 code, giving you the ability to update your CoolRunner using the NAND-X over USB
Simple cable to update your NAND-X with Tiros’ NandPro v3 using an Xecuter CK3i
We have also designed an LPT JTAG cable that is based on the official XILINX schematics (not the public homebrew version). This will be available also along with a CK3 to CoolRunner cable to provide power.
For those that want to DIY their Nand-X with NandPro v3 we posted some pin out info here
We would like to once again thank GliGli and Tiros for their hard work and dedication to the homebrew scene.
Here are the boot videos for different models: Jasper Phat, Trinity Slim and Falcon Phat

EA's revival of its dormant SSX franchise launches in the US for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 14th February, the publisher has announced.
A listing on the EA Sports website doesn't mention a UK date, but convention suggests a 17th February release is likely on these shores.
Eurogamer's Oli Welsh came away impressed when he checked out the game at E3 this year.
"It looks, very unusually for an extreme sports sequel, like a game made to high standards, with considerable creative and technical ambition, but also sensitivity to its arcade roots," read his SSX preview.
"It might not be the game SSX fans imagined - but it probably is the game they've been waiting for."

Xbox 360 sales are down year-on-year, with Microsoft shipping 2.3 million units worldwide in the last three months compared to 2.8 million during the same period in 2010.
However, as revealed in the platform holder's quarterly financial report today, Xbox 360 revenue has actually gone up by seven per cent, thanks to increased Xbox Live profits.
Microsoft also announced that the console has now sold a total of 57.6 million units worldwide since launch. In comparison, the PlayStation 3 had sold 51.8 million and the Wii 87.6 million as of 30th June this year.
Though it didn't offer precise figures, software revenue was also down, with Microsoft pinning the blame on particularly strong Halo: Reach sales this time last year.
Operating income from its entertainment division (which also incorporates Windows Phone 7 and internet TV set-up Mediaroom) was down nine per cent from $386 million to $352 million.

They laughed at you when you bought that suit of chainmail. They looked at you quizzically when you started stockpiling gas and canned beans in the garage. They showed concern over your decision to turn that spare bedroom into a Max Brooks shrine -- actually, that's kinda creepy. We agree with them on that one.
You're convinced the zombie apocalypse is going down, and you've probably already played Konami's Zombie Apocalypse game. You know, as part of your training. A sequel, Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone, is set to launch on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN this fall.

You can now count time travel and resurrection among the miracles made possible through DLC. Microsoft and Epic Games have announced "RAAM's Shadow," an add-on campaign for Gears of War 3 that precedes the events of the first game and brings back a few familiar, snarling faces.
Due on Dec. 13, "RAAM's Shadow" sees Zeta Squad attempting to evacuate Illima City in the wake of Emergence Day. Your muscular protagonists for the trip are Michael Barrick (plucked from Gears of War comics), original character Alicia Valera, Gears of War 2's tattooed Tai Kaliso, and a perforation-free version of Lt. Kim. (Presumably, he's still got the codes.)
RAAM's running time is pegged at three hours, and it offers a couple of other bonuses. For $15 / 1200 MSP you'll also get six more multiplayer characters, the "chocolate" weapon set (we're unclear if that refers to a color scheme or a dairy-based construction), Achievements amounting to 250 Gamerscore and -- oh, what's this? "In addition to fighting as a new squad of Gears, players will step into the boots of RAAM himself, and for the first time storm the human stronghold from the perspective of one of the series' most legendary bosses."
As with the first round of upcoming DLC, "Horde Command," Gears of War 3Season Pass owners get RAAM'd for free.

To celebrate Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's launch next month (and world-class moustaches everywhere), Activision is partnering with Australian charity Movember.
Movember is an Aussie charity founded in 1999 to help promote men's health issues such as prostate cancer and depression. Every year, men take sponsorship to grow, from scratch, the most delectible moustache they can muster over the month of November to raise money for these causes.
Activision will also be driving people to sign up for Movember via in-store marketing (through an exclusive deal with Harvey Norman) and on-the-box stickering to help spread the word about this worthy cause.

Flying in the face of the current widespread industry belief, a new report has claimed that the successor to Xbox 360 might not see the light of day until 2013.
Develop claims to have word from “sources across the industry” that the new Xbox won’t be unveiled until E3 2013 with a speculative launch date of late 2013.
This conflicts with the behind-closed-doors murmurs of an E3 2012 reveal.
In a separate report, Develop also claims that “several” of Sony’s internal studios have already begun work on PlayStation 4 game projects. It speculates about a possible 2014 launch.

October 20th, 2011, 23:37 Posted By: wraggster
Battlefield 3 producer Patick Bach has said that the 'optional' hi-res texture pack which comes on the second disc of the Xbox version of the game must be installed to the hard drive to get full graphical quality.
Because there are models of the 360 which do not have hard drives fitted, the texture pack had to be an optional extra, rather than standard as it is on PS3 and PC.
Speaking in an interview with GamerZines, Bach says that 360 owners who do not have a hard drive will be getting what he refers to as a "'standard-def' version" of the game.
"There's nothing magic about it," Bach told the site. "It's the same thing we do for PC and PS3, so there's nothing extra. "I think the controversy about this is that we actually let you do it on 360 for once. So what it does is it gives you the same abilities, kind of, as the PC and PS3. You can actually stream information from the hard drive.
"That's new for Xbox 360, but it's not a new idea for the gaming industry as a whole. No one has really tried to do it properly, so us doing it will create question marks.
"The thing with the 360 is that you need to be able to give consumers a game where you don't have to install it on a hard drive, because there are 360s without a hard drive. So we need to give you the option of installing it, rather than just demanding it. You could call it a 'standard-def' version for the 360 if you don't have a hard-drive."
Although it's unlikely that Bach means standard definition in a literal sense, he was unequivocal about the installation making a noticeable difference to the visual quality of the game.
"It does make a difference, yes, absolutely. The whole engine is based around streaming textures, streaming terrain and a lot of other content.
"It's not the engine that demands it, but that it has the ability to create a more detailed experience. We can't use more memory of the actual machine itself, we need to flush that memory with new information depending on where you are in the game.
"What we let you do is let you have high-res information that gets streamed in and out of memory at all times, and that gives you a more detailed, varied and vivid experience on all platforms. We don't want to take that away from 360 players.
"We're really trying to push the limits of what we can do on the consoles and the PC. Our goal is to see how we can utilise as many of the systems that you actually have in your machine that some people haven't utilised before. Some (developers) just do it like, if it doesn't fit into memory we just make a lesser game. We don't do that. For us, it's about how we can give you the most game ever even though the hardware is over five years old."
Battlefield 3 is released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next Friday, 28 October.
