Talismoon released their "PSU Energyzer for Xbox360". With this product, you'll be able to use the PC atx power supply of your choice on a xbox360.
The cable adapter is 21$, and you can find a pc power supply at 10-14$ easily.
The PSU Energyzer is a special cable with an OEM Xbox 360 power plug on one end, and a 20 pin ATX connector on the other.
Please note that the original Xbox 360 Power Supply provides 203 watts, and 12v DC current at 16.5 amps, and 5v DC at 1 Amp. For the PSU energyzer to work, your PC power supply must provide this much SUSTAINED power at a minimum. Many PC power supplies are rated for PEAK power instead of sustained power, so you must check the label of your power supply to see if it provides enough sustained power.

With Linux running on iPods for a few years now, it would seem that it was only a matter of time before someone got a version of the operating system up and running on Microsoft's Zune, especially given the fact that the player's Freescale iMX31L processor can already handle the OS. Well, according to one fearless warranty-voiding individual, that prospect is now at least one step closer to reality. In a post on ZuneBoards, "Mys Videl" claims that he's managed to get Linux on Zune "partway working," currently only able to be booted while synced and with limited capabilities. While Videl's not willing to let the secret loose just yet (or even provide pics of it in action for that matter) he is promising to release it as open source when its finished, and open it up to beta testing before that. Exactly when that might happen, he isn't saying.

With titles like Idolm@ster and Onechanbara, the Xbox 360 is a console for Japanese consumers with discerning tastes. Not only that, but hit "American" titles like Dead Rising and Gears of War get slapped with country's dreaded games-as-porn "Z" rating. And Microsoft is starting to realize this. And hopefully capitalize on it.
Next January, Xbox Japan is holding an "Adult Games Festa" at the Akihabara UDX 3D Theater. Save for sandbox game Crackdown and the cross platform Vampire Rain, the other games aren't exactly new: Gears of War, Dead Rising, The Godfather and Onechanbara vorteX. The 18 years-old and over event kicks off at 3:30 pm on the 12th and ends at 10 pm, because ADULTS play video games LATE. Except for me.

It's not often that companies hit it big twice in a row, but we'd say Suzuki's SXBox concept car is just as nifty (albeit in a very different manner) as its previous carpet-ready ride, the MIO. Although this is likely a case of great engineering that'll never see any real-world play, Suzuki is still tooting its own horn at the 2006 San Diego International Auto Show by letting gamers gaze at the entertainment mecca that is the SXBox. Part of the "Suzuki LIVE Series" of concept cars marketed at various realms of "enthusiasts," this whip is based on the 2007 SX4 and features a dashboard-integrated Xbox 360, which is coupled with a "close proximity digital projection system to display games or watch a HD DVD movie on the interior of the vehicle's retractable hood." Additionally, a second console is connected to two separate LCDs in the seat backs for folks riding in the rear, and there's even a retractable 30-inch rear projection screen in the trunk for the ultimate tailgating experience. And leave it to Suzuki to remember the details, as you'll also find force-feedback front seats, four wireless controllers, matching "green" color accents, a bevy of recessed LEDs, full surround sound rig, and even a steering wheel-mounted control for the haphazard driver. As expected, this ride isn't even close to being mass produced, but if you seriously need all that gaming while in the comfortable confines of a vehicle, you most certainly have formidable alternatives. You know the drill, click on through for a few more pics.

In its latest Investor Relations report Capcom has revealed that it plans to publish six new Xbox 360 titles in 2007 and expects them to sell 2,250,000 copies.
From the top of our turkey sandwich-swelled heads, we're guessing that at least two of these six titles will be Lost Planet and Resident Evil 5 - although the company has recently said that the latter will likely slip to 2008.
It has been rumoured that the fourth PS3 Devil May Cry instalment will eventually make its way over to Microsoft's console - which would name three of the six - and we'd also be surprised if a Dead Rising sequel isn't part of Capcom's 2007 line-up.
Still, idle guessing aside it certainly looks like there are plenty of surprises in store for Xbox 360 owners next year.

Bad news for those potential Xbox fanboys out there waiting for a cooler and less power-hungry Xbox before they spring for that nifty white box: DigiTimes is reporting that Microsoft's upcoming 65nm processors -- the current 360s are running those oh-so-2005 90nm chips -- have been delayed, and won't be making it off the production line until mid-2007, at least a quarter after current projections. Of course, the main source of noise on the box is really the disc drive, and we hope this doesn't mean Microsoft will hold off much longer on a price cut (no, not that price cut) but we really wouldn't mind a little bit of modern processor tech in this thing, so we'll hope Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, Microsoft's partner in chip-building crime, will pull through on this one and deliver those 65nm chips right on schedule.

According to the 360 flavoured version of Famitsu, Armored Core 4 will get its 360 release on the 22nd March next year. No details on any additional content as yet (bar the obvious inclusion of controller vibration and Xbox Live functionality) but a straight port of the PS3 version wouldn't be too shabby at all.
Having finished the singeplayer of the PS3 version, S Ranks, Arena and all, one small suggestion to those attentive ears at From Software would be the inclusion of an "easy" mode (in addition to the normal and hard that already exist). Otherwise many who haven't played the previous games may find the current difficulty erring on the side of fascistic.

According to Variety's recent assessment, Xbox 360's video download service is the year's digital distribution success story. Perhaps "success" is an overstatement, but despite an install base that's utterly dwarfed by the total number of Amazon.com users, Xbox Live's Video Marketplace is getting just as much love as the online retailer's 'Unbox' service, which also offers video on demand downloads.
The Xbox secret? Simplicity. Each video is only a few button presses away, and the console is (usually) already connected to the TV. For most users, Amazon is confined to a PC monitor, likely stashed on a desk, tucked away in the corner of the house; and getting content from Unbox to the TV is a tedious process.
So has Microsoft nailed it? Is Xbox 360 the frontrunner of the digital distribution era -- even with a 20 GB hard drive and limited studio support?

Gamasutra is running a piece today written by Ernest Adams, a frequent contributor to the site and an amusingly opinionated game designer. He writes to weigh in on the console war debate from the perspective of a game designer. He runs down the usual list of pros and cons for each machine, and then digs into the most creative aspects of each machine. Finally, lays out what he sees as the end result of this hardware generation: "So who, at the end of the day, will be the also-ran in this generation of consoles? On the global scale, I'd say it could well be neither the PS3 or the Wii, but the Xbox 360. The PS3 will win over the hardcore gamers who have to have the fastest, most amazing machine available. The Wii will skim off the younger players and those who don't have as much money to spend. Both have the advantage of being made in Japan, so they'll crowd the Xbox right out of that market. In the US and Europe, it's harder to say, but I see the Xbox's early start as more of a liability than a benefit."

Both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 appear to be having a bit of a rough Christmas. For the PS3, it's all about launch jitters. The worst of these jitters is probably the dubious nomination from TIME magazine, who has cited the console as a 'bust'. The 360, likewise, is having problems meeting expectations, especially those of Michael Pachter. He's the gent that expected big sales this Christmas for the console, and he's now trying to figure out why the 360 fell short. What is, perhaps, a larger problem - lack of penetration for the Xbox Live service - is being discussed by Reuters. While the still laudable number of 4 million subscribers sounds impressive, the article points out that the runaway success of the Wii and the overall ratio of possible to actual subscribers should give Microsoft pause. In short, Sony and Microsoft are having good, but not great holiday seasons. Next year, when there's enough stock to go around and big games on the way, we'll see who really 'has the stuff'.

Reuters suggest that Xbox Live may not be the killer app for the 360 as Microsoft both hopes and promotes as such. Popular analyst David Cole believes the Xbox platform so far has only appealed to "a solid base of hardcore gamers who are drawn to its first person shooters." He calls the Live user segment "small" noting that of the 6 million gamers that purchased Halo 2, only a third of those ventured online.
But that was two years ago, and Microsoft openly admits to a mere 10% Live adoption rate for the original Xbox. Furthermore, the company states that "more than 50 percent of all Xbox 360s are taken online," implying that online play is becoming a gaming necessity not just for the hardcore, but the casual as well.
Still, Cole remains unconvinced. He says, "Games that do not depend on Web play -- such as some roll-playing [sic] games -- are most important ... The key to the 360's overall success is what they'll offer consumers who don't go online."

A demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 6 from Konami is now available to download from Xbox Live Marketplace.
Better late than never, eh? Word reaches up that Xbox Live Gold members can now download the PES6 demo from the Xbox Live Marketplace, while Silver members of the service will be able to join the online footy revolution from December 29.
Even though football (not soccer) is the world's most popular (and greatest) game, the demo can't be downloaded in Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, and the US.
The full game was recently patched, fixing the connection issues the game shipped with.

Ubisoft has released an automatic update for Splinter Cell: Double Agent that fixes connection and lag issues in the Xbox Live multiplayer game.
Don't you just hate getting the message "the host has ended the session"? Makes you feel like you've done something wrong or the host just doesn't like your Gamertag. Well, you shouldn't be seeing that any more if this list of fixes is anything to go by.
Here are a few highlights of what the developer should have sorted out before the game launched:
Some instances of "the host has ended the session"
Disconnections in the lobby
After kicking the 6th player from a team, the leader couldn't invite another player
In-game freezing
The loading video was always the same, now it's changed at random
Fix FPS loss due to a sound problem

The holidays aren't over quite yet, but given the current state of release lists, it's understandable that gamers would be planning their purchases for early 2007 already. One title that Microsoft hopes makes the cut is Crackdown, the free-roaming action game where players take control of superhuman crime-stoppers to clean up the streets of the fictional metropolis Pacific City.
Microsoft today gave gamers some guidance on when they could expect Crackdown to roll into retail by announcing an official release date of February 20. What's more, those on the fence about whether or not to pick up the game can download a free demo from the Xbox Live Marketplace starting January 18. The demo version of the game will include online cooperative play as well as single-player action.
