Publishing juggernaut Electronic Arts has announced its line-up for Microsoft's X06 event in Barcelona, which officially kicks of at 6pm this evening.
Half-Life 2, NFS: Carbon and Superman Returns are the most notable Xbox 360 games on the publisher's list, with obligatory sports updates FIFA 07, NHL 07, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 and NBA LIVE 07 also primed for playable appearances at the show.
Being big Freeman-fans, we're finding Half-Life 2's appearance the most exciting of EA's line-up, as its appearance at X06 would be the first time we've seen the game running on the Xbox 360 - although it's currently unclear whether Valve's next-gen port will be present in playable or in video form.
Commenting on the line-up, EA's VP of international sales and marketing, Jan Bolz said: "A year ago the industry inaugurated the next generation of video gaming - this year the next gen gaming experience gets even better. EA's 360 line up brings the innovation of our creative development teams to players around the world, immersing them in deep, connected game play experiences that truly signal the arrival of a new era of digital entertainment."
In addition, EA notes that it will be showcasing Rail Simulator at the event, under the Games for Windows brand. We'd have rather of had Crysis to be honest, but there you go.
