Activision Blizzard has revealed that last year's instalment in the Call of Duty shooter series - World at War - has now seen its map packs downloaded over 4 million times.
Two such packs have already been released, with the second of those prompting sales of the game to pass the 11 million mark in June, while a third is now due next month to include three multi-player maps and one Zombie map.
World at War will be followed up later this year by Modern Warfare 2, a game which Activision has touted as the "biggest entertainment launch of all time" and which one analyst believes will sell World at War's lifetime sales numbers by the end of the fiscal year.
