Watch Dogs will release sometime between April and June, during the first quarter of Ubisoft's 2014-2015 fiscal year.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced the date in a financial release Monday. He said in a conference call with investors that the firm will give a more specific release date for the game "very soon." Watch Dogs was previously confirmed for release in Spring 2014, after being delayed out of the launch window for Xbox One and PS4.
"Our ambition from the start with Watch Dogs has been to deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming," the company explained at the time. "From the beginning, we have adopted the attitude that we will not compromise on quality.
"As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune every detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience."
Rumors circulated in January that the game's Wii U version had been canceled after an alleged "glitch" in GameStop's systems, though Ubisoft has declined comment on its status since then.
