Ubisoft has delayed Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction until its fiscal 2009-10 year. The announcement was made in a financial statement released today. Previously scheduled for a 2008 fourth quarter release, Splinter Cell Conviction was delayed to bolster the publisher's future release list. In addition, the delay also allows more time to work on the game, the latest in the stealth action series.
Ubisoft's fiscal year ends on March 31; hopefully we won't have to wait until 2010 to get our hands on the next iteration of the stealth action franchise.
