I was just wondering, im runing out of sockets on the back of my TV. I have my xbox plugged into the SCART adapter that came with it, I also have a DVD player, It has the composite video and L&R audio too. At the minute I swap the cables when I want to watch DVD or XBOX. However I was wondering if I took 3 Y-splitters and put one into each of the three plugs on the back of the xbox scart adapter, would this allow me to have both plugged in at the same time, and then whichever one I want to use I turn on?

If that makes any sense.
