Halo: Reach's beta test has been more popular than Halo 3's, with more players logging in on day one than for the entirety of the Halo 3 beta.
That's according to Machinima (via Destructoid), which quotes the official Bungie stats in its latest video.
The first week of play on the Reach beta saw 14 million games played - over 29 years of game time - and 157 million kills.
The Halo: Reach beta test ends tomorrow - a day later than originally planned. "Our official plans as of now are to turn off the Reach beta on Thursday, 5/20 at 10AM PDT," Bungie's Brian Jarrard told Joystiq. That will be 6pm here in the UK.
Halo: Reach is due out this autumn, exclusively for Xbox 360.
