NY father, son accused of assault in dispute over Xbox game

A father and son are accused of assaulting another father and son with a baseball bat during an argument over the ownership of a Xbox game.

Police say Michael Malta, 43, and his son, Anthony, 18, both of Garnerville, were arraigned Thursday morning on assault charges. They were arrested Wednesday night after police responded to a street fight.

Police say a 45-year-old West Haverstraw man and his 18-year-old son were found injured near their home. They suffered head, arm and leg injuries and were hospitalized.
