Microsoft has detailed the additions coming to Xbox One in the console’s software update due next month.
Already available to beta preview users, Game Hubs offer a centralised dashboard spot to access a range of content associated with any Xbox title – including leaderboards, game clips, broadcast and details on the title’s top players.
Game hubs for games you don’t own can also be accessed from its page on the Microsoft store.
Also on the way are custom backgrounds for the dashboard and tile transparency to make them more visible. Some tiles – probably ad titles – can’t be made transparent “due to usage rights/restrictions for certain images”.
There are a host of TV updates incoming too including OneGuide support in the Netherlands, TV Trending information (which is already available in the UK), improved set-top box and AV receiver support and live TV streaming to Windows Phone and Android.
