Will enable Brits to stream films including Avengers Assemble, Dumbo, Pirates of the Caribbean and more.
Internet streaming service Netflix launched in the UK and Ireland back in January last year and passed more than one million users in the region within seven months.
Now, in a bid to continue growing its footprint, the company says British screens will be graced with a bundle of Disney and Disney Pixar films in coming months, including:Dumbo, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ratatouille, The Aristocats, The Chronicles of Narnia, and more.
Meanwhile, recently released blockbusters like Avengers Assemble and The Muppets will debut in the new year.
Ted Sarandos, chief content officer, Netflix, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer our members an incredible variety of fantastic family films, from recent hits like Marvel’s Avengers Assemble to beloved classics like Mary Poppins. We aim to make Netflix better all the time and hope members enjoy the rich offering of films we are making available from the Disney studios."
