The top-performing Xbox Live Arcade games have been revealed in a talk at GameFest by platform manager Mark Coates, following on from a lecture by Chris Satchell, who spoke about some of the latest Xbox Live numbers.
According to a report on Gamasutra, Microsoft is predicting 45 million downloads and over 100 games on XBLA by the end of 2007, with a 156 per cent return on those published so far.
What's more interesting are the statistics on which titles have been performing the best so far this year, with TMNT 1989 Arcade gathering the most users, followed by Worms and UNO.
Jewel Quest wins out on average session length, while UNO has been played for the most minutes overall.
Across the financial year running from June 2006 to July 2007 Streetfighter II HF is top of both the volume and revenue lists, with UNO and TMNT following up on volume, and Worms and Doom runners-up for revenue.
One particularly interesting statistic revealed was that the first two months after a game's release only accounted for 35 per cent of its revenue on average, something very different to most full release titles.
Finally, the average user apparently has 23 people on their friends list, although there's no information on whether or not all of those would be considered active.
