Microsoft has warned consumers that any websites claiming to be offering access to a Halo 4 beta are fakes. David Ellis of 343 Industries said on Twitter: "If you see a page claiming to allow you to sign up for a Halo 4 beta be advised, IT'S A FAKE."Microsoft is yet to announce any official plans regarding a beta for the game, which is due for release later this year on Xbox 360, but we wouldn't be surprised if there was one. Crackdown buyers were granted access to Halo 3's beta, while Halo: ODST purchasers gained access to Halo Reach's beta.
Microsoft UK's Xbox entertainment director Stephen McGill has said that "one of the key things with Halo 4 is going back to what made it amazing for people playing the first Halo."
