The multiplayer component of Konami’s PES 2014 on Xbox 360 has at last been fixed.
An update is now available and ready to download, and should do so manually the next time the game is loaded up.
However, 11v11 online multiplayer is not yet available and will be introduced “in the coming weeks”. A further data pack next month will introduce 800 player face updates, updates squad rosters and other general gameplay improvements.
“Konami is extremely grateful for the patience and understanding shown by PES 2014 users affected by the issues,” a statement said. “Further DLC updates created to bolster the performance of the acclaimed football title will also be announced shortly.”
Many Xbox 360 owners have been unable to take the game online since its release way back on September 20th – a terrible blow for a game that not only relies so heavily on online multiplayer but also faces such high-profile opposition.
