Xbox One title enables users to harness motion sensing tech to add personalised character animations
Players of upcoming world-building Xbox One title Project Spark will be able to harness the Kinect to crate the own in-game character and facial animations.
Revealing the news at Gamescom, developer Team Dakota revealed users could record motion capture in their living rooms, and capture facial animations, body motion, voice and sound.
Once captured and recorded, these can then be used to create custom animations, dialog and cutscenes.
Specific examples of how this could be used include creating your own attacks and movements, as well as applying animations to a character’s face to create unique expressions
Project Spark enables users to create their own landscapes and levels, which can be done through voice commands using the Kinect and through SmartGlass on tablets.
