Microsoft has a limited edition Halo Reach Xbox 360 S bundle planned, which seemingly appeared prematurely on the official Xbox site.
The bundle comes with a special silver console covered in Halo Reach-themed graphics on its case, a 250GB hard drive, plus two matching silver controllers and a copy of the game for $399. Halo Reach Tips took a snap (through the source link) of the Xbox.com post before it was briskly whipped offline.
If the console's anywhere near as sexy as the new silver Halo Reach controller, pictured (also via Halo Reach Tips), it'll be on our list of 'excessive but necessary' purchases come the release of the game on September 14.
A source has told Ars Technica to expect an official announcement later today.
UPDATE: It's official. The Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo: Reach bundle will be available on September 14 when Halo: Reach launches.
Designed by Bungie, the bundle includes the newly designed Xbox 360, plus two limited edition Wireless Controllers and a standard edition copy of Halo:Reach.
