GDC 09: Call of Duty Conducts Modern Warfare in November

At the conclusion of the 9th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards, Activision unveiled a new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The trailer (which can be viewed below) shows no real gameplay, but is instead a lengthy teaser.

The teaser seems to suggest that gamers may have access to a form of either LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) or sonar. In The Dark Knight, Batman used something similar to obtain a visual on enemies and civilians regardless of physical obstructions. Or it could just be a stylized trailer.

The trailer ends with a release date. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is shipping to stores November 10, 2009.
