The news that Microsoft has priced the Kinect motion camera right at the top end of the expected price range has been met with anger from followers of the device on Facebook.
A selection of comments include:
• Simon Kitcher: Total rip off!!!
• Karl Crowther: This product will bomb at this price point..no way for an add on..remember mega c d ouch
• Mrityunjai Singh: thats costly
• Andy Finch: OMG I enquired in game when asked about project natal got told look around the 50 quid mark...... Hold on we at microsoft change the name and call it kinect then charge pple the extortionate price of 129.99. Hold on I can buy a wii for 100 quid?
• Martin Roberts: On it's own? I just spent £200 on the xbox alone!!!
• Calvin Taylor: rip off what happen to them sayin it was only gonna be 40 quid
• Steven Birch: not paying that much!!!
• Kevin Dooley: £129.99 what a joke think i will get my pre-order money back

UK retail had previously called for a sub-£100 RRP for Kinect.
