Finally, Highlander action screens

To date Eidos has only seen fit to grace us with environment screenshots from its Highlander game, but today finally, finally, we're getting in-game action.

And, oh yes, there's blood, but we're still being denied decapitation, probably in order to avoid the righteous ire of the Daily Mail.

In addition to the action screens there's a couple of new environmental shots - which we have to say are none too shabby - and the direct-feed version of the Highlander teaser trailer that appeared on the 'net earlier in the week.

Highlander's a third-person action adventure in development for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and out this year. Let's just hope Eidos nails the sword combat.
