EA has revealed what it is describing as “its most extensive global pre-order incentive in the history of the FIFA franchise”.
The company has announced that the FIFA 13 Ultimate Edition will be available for just one day – September 28th, the day that FIFA 13 will be released in Europe.
The SKU will include 24 FIFA Ultimate Team Gold Packs, each of which includes 12 cards. Being Gold they will contain players with a rating of 75 or over and one rare item.
That’s not where the pre-order perks end, either.
Pre-order the game from Amazon and you’ll receive 10,000 EA Sports Football Club Credits. GAME customers, however, will get the exclusive Adidas All-Star Team that is comprised of 23 of the game’s top global stars including Argentinian Lionel Messi, Manchester United’s Portuguese winger Nani and French forward Karim Benzema.
FIFA 13 Ultimate Team Edition will be available only on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The normal version of the game will also be available on Vita, Wii, Ps2, PSP, iOs and Android.
UPDATE: EA has contacted MCV to confirm that the SKU will not be limited to availability only on September 28th. "The FIFA 13 Ultimate Edition is a pre-order incentive and is live now for people to purchase rather than it only being available on the 28th Sept" a rep explained.
