Magical shooter Bullet Witch has finally been confirmed for a European release on the Xbox 360 today, publisher Atari inking in a deal with AQ Interactive to bring the demon-slaying action to these shores on Microsoft's next-gen console.
It's the first title in a new strategic partnership for both companies, bringing some of AQ's intriguing sounding line-up - which includes several PS3 and Wii titles - to a European audience.
Developed by Japanese house Cavia, Bullet Witch is set on the usual post-apocalyptic Earth in the year 2013 (so only seven years to wait kids) with mankind assaulted by a wave of demons intent on wreaking their usual havoc and destruction (surely there must be some benevolent demons somewhere out there - who perhaps tidy up a bit and, unprompted, serve jugs of Pimms to any takers - why do we never get invaded by them?).
Ahem, anyway our last, best, hope as the old cliché runs lies with Alicia, a witch (though clearly not of the pointy hat and beaked nose variety) who's combination of magical skills and demon-slaughtering shooting is the only thing standing between us and total extinction.
