Microsoft's version of Google Goggles coming to its own OS.
The feature is built into the Bing search component of Windows Phone and will recognise QR codes, Microsoft tags, barcodes, CDs, DVDs, and books when they are placed in front of the phone's camera.
In a few weeks, the tech will also also identify print versions of magazine and newspaper articles and then link the user to digital versions.
It's available as a free update for users of Lumia et al, and is activated with a tap of the search icon and then a tap of the eye icon which pops up at the bottom of the screen. http://www.mobile-ent.biz/news/read/...-winpho/017078
