Straight from the Xbox spring showcase, here's the first footage of the gorgeous Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts in action.

The long-awaited platformer follow-up is a bit of a break from the traditional B-K formula, sporting Lego-like building mechanics that allow you to shape and construct your own cars, planes and boats from scrap. It looks fantastic.

We traveled down to Rare's Twycross HQ ahead of the event, and you can read our full hands-on impressions with the game right here. Don't forget our exclusive interview with Rare either.
