Banjo-Kazooie, the classic Rare N64 platformer, will be downloadable on Xbox Live Arcade for 1,200 MSP ($15) on November 26, Microsoft has confirmed.
Don't feel like waiting that long? Gamers who pre-order the upcoming Xbox 360 title Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts will get a code good for a free download of the original two weeks before the game is available to the masses on XBLA.
Banjo-Kazooie and Nuts & Bolts will feature a "Stop n Swop" element, originally conceived by Rare in the N64 days, that will allow players to unlock extra content in the newest game by playing the original. Rare and Microsoft also confirmed that Banjo-Tooie, the second game in the franchise, will be coming to XBLA in early 2009.
Check IGN's Xbox Live channel tomorrow for a full preview of the XBLA version of Banjo-Kazooie.
