Microsoft is on the hunt for exclusive entertainment content for Xbox One. Deadline reports that CEO Steve Ballmer and entertainment studios president Nancy Tellem have been doing the rounds in Hollywood in an effort to bolster ties with key content makers.
Talks have supposedly taken place with CBS, Sony TV and WME, amongst others “to reiterate Microsoft’s commitment to transitioning its business to devices and services and to explaining that Hollywood entertainment is a big part of that – Microsoft in the past has just dipped a toe but now has a real commitment.”
The sales patter, supposedly, claims that the company wants to “merge the story-telling magic of TV with the interactive power of the Xbox One”.
